Export lexicon to SFM for Toolbox/FLEx

In an earlier post, I showed how to convert .xls files that contain lexical data to Standard Format Markers (SFM) files that can be imported in Toolbox and FLEx.

Now you also have the option of converting .xlsx or tab-delimited files online using the SFM Exporter, available here.

SFM Exporter is an online Shiny app, written in R, that allows you to convert a lexicon file laid out in tabular format to a plain text file that uses Standard Format Markers. To use it, just click on the Browse... button and select the .xlsx or .txt file you want to convert. Then click on Download and the programme will do the conversion for you.
